A combination of drumstick and thigh, our whole chicken leg with better fat content, and is a wonderfully juicy cut of meat. The rich flavors of the bone percolate deep at intervals the meat once it is boiled. Ideal for: Roast, grill or make it in a oven, this is often one cut you will never fail with! Freshness Indicator: The chicken used to be pink in color and cold to the touch. Tips: because the legs work tougher than the other parts of the chicken, the meat is firmer and have to cook longer.
